Here is how to make your stitching look just like the model....
After stitching the design interface the back of your linen and the cute rabbit fabric. Then trim edges of your linen 3/4 inch on all four sides
Now you are going to have to decide which end of the rabbit fabric to use for the front of the pillow. You want a full row of rabbits hopping across....so look at both ends of the fabric strip and see which one is best i.e....least waste.
Cut the three inch strip and sew it to the bottom of the stitching....make sure the rabbits aren't upside down...after they are sewn...use a 1/4 inch seam.
Iron seam open. Attach the Rick rack along the seam...stitch or glue in place. Get fancy and add a few beads or fancy stitches if that floats your boat.
Place wrong sides together and sew pillow front to he back...leave opening for turning at the bottom...about 2 inches.
Sew using 1/4 inch seam allowance
Trim backing fabric and then grade the corners
Turn right side out and iron.
Ready to stuff and enjoy....have a wonderful Spring.
What a cute pattern and a great finish idea - thank for the tutorial.
